Bio:

Twenty four years ago, Bharash Dragondelve was traveling to Nenlast after trading with a small clan of Tigerclaw barbarians in the southernmost part of the Winterbole Forest. It was night and, suddenly, the stars filled sky became cloudy and the worst thunderstorm the Nentir Vale ever faced broke up.
Hoping to reach Nenlast before the crack of dawn, Bharash kept on the move even as the storm worsened, harsh winds blowed and furious lightning iluminated the firmament. It seemed as the Storm God himself was battling in the heavens above. South of lake Nen, in the cold marshes near the shore, Bharash was surprised to find an abandoned dragonborn egg covered in mud between the mallows. He hastly seeked refuge, guarding the egg against the elements but as soon as he wrapped it with a carrick he was carrying, the storm subdued.
At sunrise Bharash washed the egg in the flooded lake waters, and he noticed it had a strange solid purple colour with blueish reflections toward its edges. Unable to find the egg’s parents, the honorable warrior decided to take care of it as its own.
A few months later the egg hatched and Kilu Bharashina Dragondelve came into this world. The hatchling matured quickly, always joyful and curious, kept from trouble by her severe yet caring adoptive father. The young dragonborn grew up, listening to her father’s tales of war and conquest, playing among barbarian children and swiming in the Nen’s cold waters. As a retired dragonborn soldier, Bharash made a living bartering with the Tigerclaw tribes and small towns near the Nen, and along him Kilu had a nomadic life and learnt the trade. Before adulthood she had developed a dangerous lightning breath weapon which was seen as an omen, related to her bith, by both her father and the barbarian shamans. Bharash initiated her in Kord’s worship and the shamans made her the leading voice in their seasonal primal rituals whenever the peculiar pair of merchants was visiting the tribes.
As the years passed Kilu’s magics became stronger as did her fondness for battles, drinks and festivals.
With his daughter’s twenty fourth birthday approaching, Bharash decided it was time for him to settle up, he was growing old and Kilu’s seemed to have an unsatiable hunger for arcane knowledge and ancient lore which neither him or the primitive culture of the barbarian clans could satisfy. He sent Kilu along the King’s Road to the trading town of Fallcrest. Kilu’s errand was to find a proper location for establishing business but adventure found her instead.

Personality Tratis

Kilu is a chronic alcoholic. If not exercising her martial and magic skills, she’s probably drinking and performing in the Dragondelve. As most dragonborn, she is competitive, bold and brave. She tends to speak her mind and has trouble keeping secrets whether drunk or not. Despite her habit, she is a bright tactician that has a superior understanding of the battlefield and pursues victory at all costs.
Born and raised among barbarians, Kilu worships Kord as she is fond of physical prowess, battle and thunder magics. Like the storm god, she is unbridled and passionate and has little concern for etiquette and morals. Also she sympathizes with Ioun since she has an avocation for tactics and ancient lore and history.
Since her arrival in Fallcrest, Kilu has become fond of the trading city, quickly adapting to the urban lifestyle but is always eager to start a new adventure.

Mannerisms and appearance

Kilu has purple eyes and crimson scales with mauve taupe reflections under bright light. She has a long crest and is taller and more slender than most dragonborn. Nevertheless, she does not appear to be clumsy or fragile, in fact, she has an intimidating presence and gives out little sparkles similar to static when enraged.
She dresses much like a Tigerclaw barbarian and prefers hide and leather clothing in general although she fights with a tight and heavy chainshirt. Unlike the northern barbarians she exposes large areas of her body, specialy her belly, arms and thighs, since dragonborn don’t suffer cold as much as other humanoids. She walks around barefoot with the upper half of a pair of buskins covering her ankles. She always carries one or two musical instruments with her (and a couple of pitchers) and plays them on occasion but she is a talented singer with a powerfull, peculiar yet charming voice with which she rushes into battle along her lightning breath.
Kilu is ill-mannered, not naturally fit for diplomacy but can behave if required and talk her way into success as she’s a magical “je ne sais quoi” about her.
